About the Bigfoot HD
HD Upgrades
The Bigfoot HD version pushes toughness to the next level with factory-installed Extreme Heavy Duty components—including reinforced C-hubs, axle carriers, and steering blocks designed to handle brutal bashing. Durable one-piece camber links eliminate the need for adjustment while maintaining consistent geometry. Combined with a high-torque waterproof servo and telescoping driveshafts, these upgrades keep performance smooth and reliable even through the roughest runs.
Chassis, Drivetrain & Suspension
Under the body, the fiber-composite chassis houses a Magnum 272™ metal-gear transmission engineered for high-output brushless power. The Torque-Control™ slipper clutch and planetary gear differential ensure efficient power transfer and consistent traction. Oil-filled Ultra Shocks™ with X-ring seals deliver plush damping, and the adjustable wheelie bar adds control for hard launches. Combined with generous ground clearance, the Bigfoot HD is ready for dirt, grass, pavement, or anything in between.
Electronics, Body & Wheels
The clipless Ford-licensed Bigfoot No.1 body features internal reinforcements to prevent pull-through damage and allows tool-free removal. Chrome 2.8” deep-dish wheels with Terra-Groove 2.2” tires provide excellent all-terrain grip. The Titan® 12T 550 motor and XL-5 waterproof ESC deliver reliable brushed power with three selectable driving modes, including Training Mode™ for beginners. Paired with the Traxxas TQ 2.4GHz radio system, Power Cell 8.4V 3000 mAh NiMH battery, and 4-amp USB-C fast charger, the Bigfoot HD comes ready for big-time fun right out of the box.
